Brad Ison f400f4bee8 [proxy] Optionally refuse private addresses on direct-upstream dials (#7913)
Direct-upstream targets are dialled on the proxy host's network stack,
outside the embedded client's LAN blocking. A proxy that serves
untrusted accounts lets them reach the host's loopback, its LAN or
cluster, and the cloud metadata service through such a target.

NB_PROXY_DIRECT_UPSTREAM_BLOCK_PRIVATE adds a dialer control that
refuses addresses that are not globally reachable. It checks each
socket's resolved address just before connect, so hostnames and DNS
rebinding are covered, and IPv4 embedded in IPv6 addresses is checked
as IPv4. Refused dials are served as a 502. The setting defaults to
off for private and self-hosted proxies; an unparsable value turns it
on.

Brad Ison fd1a0203c7 [management] Clean up after account deletion (#7812)
Deleting an account left state behind that DeleteAccount's store
associations don't reach. The Agent Network tables outlived the account,
keeping its gateway domain claimed and its provider API keys stored. The
proxies kept serving its gateway until they next resynced. Cloud-side
state, such as managed proxy deployments, had no way to be cleaned up at
all.

Account deletion now runs registered hooks after the permission check
and before any users or data are removed. A failing hook aborts the
deletion. Agent Network registers one that tells the proxies to drop the
account's gateway mappings. The account's settings, providers, policies,
guardrails and budget rules are deleted in the account's transaction.
Consumption counters, and the access logs of deleted accounts, are left
to the background cleanup; usage records are kept.

Brad Ison 8ab34fcf8b [proxy] Apply the upstream HTTP version before cloning transports (#7806)
createClientEntry and NewMultiTransport clone the secure transport into
its insecure variant before newUpstreamTransport applies the configured
HTTP version. http.Transport.Clone runs the source's one-time protocol
setup, and at that point ForceAttemptHTTP2 is still false while a custom
DialContext is set, so net/http disables HTTP/2 on the source for good.
Setting ForceAttemptHTTP2 afterwards has no effect.

As a result every TLS-verified upstream has been served over HTTP/1.1
since the upstream HTTP version became configurable, whatever
NB_PROXY_UPSTREAM_HTTP_VERSION says, while skip-TLS-verify upstreams
kept HTTP/2. gRPC upstreams break outright: unary calls get a 502 and
streaming calls hang until the client gives up.

Apply the version to the base transport before cloning it, and add a
test that the direct and insecure transports both offer h2.

Brad Ison 10a04fcccb [management] Add a disabled state to the managed Agent Network proxy API (#7744)
A managed Agent Network gateway can be turned off by the platform. The
derived state had no value for that, so a disabled deployment reported
whatever the operator last saw, usually provisioning.

Add `disabled` to the AgentNetworkManagedProxy state enum and say in the
POST and GET descriptions that a disabled deployment answers with it and
that provisioning again does not turn it back on.

Brad Ison e830903a94 [management] Add a revocation guard hook to the proxy token API (#7732)
Let an embedding binary refuse DELETE /api/reverse-proxies/proxy-tokens/{id}
through an optional proxytoken.RevocationGuard passed to NewAPIHandler.
It is checked after the ownership check, so another account's token
still returns 404 without reaching the guard, and before the token is
revoked. A status error from the guard is written with util.WriteError;
any other error becomes a generic 500.

Nothing installs a guard here, so OSS behavior is unchanged.

Brad Ison 6cf07caaf6 [misc] Build the upload server from source, nonroot on Chainguard (#7663)
upload-server/Dockerfile only packaged the goreleaser-built binary, so
the image could not be built from a checkout. It is now a multi-stage
build on Chainguard static, running as the nonroot user (uid 65532),
with a VARIANT=debug build arg that swaps in busybox for a shell.

The goreleaser packaging file moves unchanged to Dockerfile.release and
.goreleaser.yaml points at it, so the published netbirdio/upload image
stays as it was: distroless and root.

The bases are pinned by digest, since Chainguard publishes only :latest
for free. A Dependabot docker entry for /upload-server moves them
weekly, leaving the release base alone and holding golang to patch
updates.

Brad Ison 27991aab98 [management] Let embedding binaries extend the command tree (#7483)
The management binary is embedded by downstream builds that override
server construction via SetNewServer, but the cobra command tree itself
was closed: rootCmd is unexported and fully assembled in init, with no
way to attach additional subcommands. Customize hands the built root
command to a caller-supplied function before Execute, so an embedding
binary can add its own commands next to — or under — the built-in ones,
such as extra administrative helpers beneath the existing admin group.

Brad Ison 76ea72237f [management] Add Agent Network managed proxy to the API spec (#7433)
Defines the cloud-side managed gateway provisioning surface
(POST/GET /api/integrations/agent-network/managed-proxy) and its
response objects so clients consume generated types instead of
hand-written ones. POST is idempotent: 202 when the call starts (or
restarts) provisioning, 200 when a deployment already exists; 409
names an already-assigned endpoint the managed flow does not own and
503 signals temporarily exhausted endpoint allocation.

Brad Ison 798e4a0546 [misc] Skip the protobuf breaking check on branch-creation pushes (#7411)
A push that creates a branch sends the all-zero SHA as `before`, and
bufbuild/buf-action unconditionally builds its default baseline from
it:(src/inputs.ts:86), so `buf breaking` failed cloning a ref that does
not exist. This broke the first run on every new release-* branch, most
recently release-0.78.

Gate `breaking` on github.event.created instead. Nothing is lost: every
commit on a freshly cut release branch already passed the check on main,
and pushes with a real `before` -- plus pull requests, which compare
against their own base -- keep the action's own default baseline, so
stacked PRs are unaffected.

Also drop `build: false`, which is not an input this action accepts and
only produced a warning.

Brad Ison c5503fdc7f [misc] Build release branches, and don't mark releases latest before signing (#7171)
Prepares the repository for the release-branch process agreed internally:
one long-lived release-0.N branch per minor, with fixes backported by
cherry-pick and patch releases tagged from the branch.

Pushes to release-* branches now run the Release workflow and publish
immutable sha-* container images, the way pushes to main already do, so
a release branch can be tested before it is tagged. Release branches
never publish the floating "main" image tag. The push-to-main CI
workflows (Go tests on all platforms, frontend UI, install script,
mobile/wasm validation, infrastructure files, license check) also run
on release-* pushes; pull request triggers were already unfiltered, so
backport PRs were covered — this closes the post-merge gap.

Releases are no longer marked latest before signing: make_latest is
now false in all four goreleaser configs, so a release stays published
but not latest until the signing pipeline uploads the signed Windows
and macOS artifacts and marks it latest itself. Previously the release
became GitHub's "Latest release" at publish time, and the download
endpoints that resolve through the latest-release API could serve a
release whose signed installers did not exist yet. prerelease: auto
additionally labels rc tags as prereleases, so a release candidate can
never take the latest slot.

The trigger_sync_tag job is removed: it dispatched a downstream
image build on every v* tag (release candidates included), which would
race the deliberate release-branch build on every release. The android
and ios submodule bumps are unchanged.

Also sets perennial-regex = "^release-" so git-town never syncs or
ships a release branch into main.

Brad Ison 27b2d3f351 [management] Add a proxy-connect authorizer seam (#7136)
At proxy connect time, the declared cluster address is validated for
shape and checked for availability (`IsClusterAddressAvailable`), and
from then on the declaration is what routes the cluster's mappings to
the connection. Deployments that embed management through the
integrations seam may need a policy on that claim — deciding which
credential is allowed to declare which address.

This adds an optional `ProxyConnectAuthorizer` hook on
`ProxyServiceServer`, following the pattern of the existing `Set*` seams
(`SetServiceManager`, `SetAgentNetworkSynthesizer`,
`SetAgentNetworkLimitsService`, `SetProxyController`):

- A nil-able interface field plus `SetProxyConnectAuthorizer`, guarded
by the existing mutex.
- One call at the end of `validateProxyConnect`, so both
`GetMappingUpdate` and `SyncMappings` are covered by a single site.
- **Nothing installs it by default** — with the hook unset (always, in
this repo), behavior is byte-for-byte unchanged, which the tests pin.

Design details:

- The authorizer runs **last** — after input validation and the
availability check — and **outside** the account-scoped branch, so
management-wide tokens and token-less connects are also presented to it
rather than bypassing policy.
- The authorizer receives the presented `*types.ProxyAccessToken` (nil
when none), the proxy ID, and the declared address. Everything it needs
is already in the request/context; no proto or schema change.
- A plain error from the authorizer surfaces as `PermissionDenied`,
keeping an authorization rejection distinguishable from the
`AlreadyExists` used for address conflicts in proxy logs. A status error
passes through unchanged so implementations can pick their own code.

Brad Ison ebfdf7d7b8 [management] Rework Agent Network endpoint identity and settings bootstrap (#7085)
Store the per-account gateway endpoint as {domain, proxy_address} with a
global unique index on the full hostname; dedicated = (domain ==
proxy_address). Bootstrap becomes an explicit POST carrying exactly one
of proxy_address (server allocates an adjective-noun label beneath it)
or endpoint (claimed verbatim, address-first); provider create loses its
bootstrap side effect. PUT is a full replace with every field required —
the immutable identity fields must be echoed unchanged and a mismatch is
rejected with 422. A guarded DELETE releases the endpoint: refused with
412 while providers exist or a proxy is actively serving the endpoint
hostname (matched case-insensitively); re-creating bootstraps fresh. A
self-addressed pin excludes its address from the account's cluster allow
list, and the live mapping update path now addresses the serving proxy
from the synthesized service. Existing rows are migrated on all three
store engines.

Brad Ison 7639655883 [management] Generic gRPC extension seam for external modules (#6894)
## Describe your changes

This adds an extension point to the management server for registering
additional gRPC services. We already have a generic integrations system
and dependency injection for server components. This closes the gap on
being able to also extend the gRPC API cleanly.
