# Documentation
This directory contains documentation of the collectors in the windows_exporter, with information such as what metrics are exported, any flags for additional configuration, and some example usage in alerts and queries.
The [alert runbooks](runbooks) describe how to diagnose and mitigate alerts from
the [Windows exporter mixin](../contrib/mixin/README.md). Preview the runbook site
from the repository root with `hugo server --source docs`; its dedicated GitHub
Actions workflow publishes default-branch changes to GitHub Pages.
