7612b4d299 [client] Stop the guard test poller from outliving the test
pollUntil span a goroutine that looped forever when the condition never
held, which is exactly the path the test takes when it fails. Pass the
test context in and give up when it is done.

53f2518af1 [client] Resume peer reconnection when the network comes back
Ticks taken while the OS reported no network were skipped, but they still
advanced the exponential backoff, so a peer could be tens of seconds from its
next attempt by the time connectivity returned. Recovery then depended on a
signal or relay event, which never arrives when both stayed up across the
outage, e.g. a short airplane mode toggle over Wi-Fi. A peer parked in ICE
hourly mode stayed there for the same reason.

React to the offline-to-online transition directly: re-arm the reconnect
ticker and reset the ICE retry state, so the peer retries at once. Add
netstate.Changed for callers that own a select loop and cannot block in Wait.

902263ac96 [client] Suspend reconnection loops while the OS reports no network
On mobile the client kept dialing management, signal, relay and peer
connections while the device had no usable network at all (airplane
mode), burning battery for attempts that cannot succeed. Stopping the
engine is not an option: tearing it down destroys the TUN device, and
traffic can leak outside the tunnel until it is rebuilt.

Add client/netstate, a small gate the platform feeds from its own
connectivity callbacks. Every reconnection loop waits on it instead of
retrying blindly, and resets its backoff when the network returns so
recovery is immediate. The state is injected through functional options
and consumers hold a *State that may be nil, so every platform that does
not report availability behaves exactly as before.

The relay quick-reconnect rechecks availability after its 1.5s wait: the
disconnect that triggers it is usually the first symptom of the network
going away, so the flag typically arrives while it sleeps.

Report the suspension to the UI as well. peer.Listener grows
OnStateChanged with a typed ClientState, re-exported across the gomobile
boundary as integer constants, and the notifier maps Connecting to a new
NoNetwork state while the OS reports no network, so mobile clients can
show "no network available" instead of a misleading "connecting".

Finally, exit the client retry loop cleanly when its context is
cancelled. backoff.WithContext surfaces the bare context error, which
callers could not distinguish from a real failure — on Android that
turned an engine restart into an unrecoverable error.

5a89e6621b [client] Supress ICE signaling (#5820)
* [client] Suppress ICE signaling and periodic offers in force-relay mode

When NB_FORCE_RELAY is enabled, skip WorkerICE creation entirely,
suppress ICE credentials in offer/answer messages, disable the
periodic ICE candidate monitor, and fix isConnectedOnAllWay to
only check relay status so the guard stops sending unnecessary offers.

* [client] Dynamically suppress ICE based on remote peer's offer credentials

Track whether the remote peer includes ICE credentials in its
offers/answers. When remote stops sending ICE credentials, skip
ICE listener dispatch, suppress ICE credentials in responses, and
exclude ICE from the guard connectivity check. When remote resumes
sending ICE credentials, re-enable all ICE behavior.

* [client] Fix nil SessionID panic and force ICE teardown on relay-only transition

Fix nil pointer dereference in signalOfferAnswer when SessionID is nil
(relay-only offers). Close stale ICE agent immediately when remote peer
stops sending ICE credentials to avoid traffic black-hole during the
ICE disconnect timeout.

* [client] Add relay-only fallback check when ICE is unavailable

Ensure the relay connection is supported with the peer when ICE is disabled to prevent connectivity issues.

* [client] Add tri-state connection status to guard for smarter ICE retry (#5828)

* [client] Add tri-state connection status to guard for smarter ICE retry

Refactor isConnectedOnAllWay to return a ConnStatus enum (Connected,
Disconnected, PartiallyConnected) instead of a boolean. When relay is
up but ICE is not (PartiallyConnected), limit ICE offers to 3 retries
with exponential backoff then fall back to hourly attempts, reducing
unnecessary signaling traffic. Fully disconnected peers continue to
retry aggressively. External events (relay/ICE disconnect, signal/relay
reconnect) reset retry state to give ICE a fresh chance.

* [client] Clarify guard ICE retry state and trace log trigger

Split iceRetryState.attempt into shouldRetry (pure predicate) and
enterHourlyMode (explicit state transition) so the caller in
reconnectLoopWithRetry reads top-to-bottom. Restore the original
trace-log behavior in isConnectedOnAllWay so it only logs on full
disconnection, not on the new PartiallyConnected state.

* [client] Extract pure evalConnStatus and add unit tests

Split isConnectedOnAllWay into a thin method that snapshots state and
a pure evalConnStatus helper that takes a connStatusInputs struct, so
the tri-state decision logic can be exercised without constructing
full Worker or Handshaker objects. Add table-driven tests covering
force-relay, ICE-unavailable and fully-available code paths, plus
unit tests for iceRetryState budget/hourly transitions and reset.

* [client] Improve grammar in logs and refactor ICE credential checks

9021bb512b [client] Recreate agent when receive new session id (#4564)
When an ICE agent connection was in progress, new offers were being ignored. This was incorrect logic because the remote agent could be restarted at any time.
In this change, whenever a new session ID is received, the ongoing handshake is closed and a new one is started.

daa8380df9 [client] Feature/lazy connection (#3379)
With the lazy connection feature, the peer will connect to target peers on-demand. The trigger can be any IP traffic.

This feature can be enabled with the NB_ENABLE_EXPERIMENTAL_LAZY_CONN environment variable.

When the engine receives a network map, it binds a free UDP port for every remote peer, and the system configures WireGuard endpoints for these ports. When traffic appears on a UDP socket, the system removes this listener and starts the peer connection procedure immediately.

Key changes
Fix slow netbird status -d command
Move from engine.go file to conn_mgr.go the peer connection related code
Refactor the iface interface usage and moved interface file next to the engine code
Add new command line flag and UI option to enable feature
The peer.Conn struct is reusable after it has been closed.
Change connection states
Connection states
Idle: The peer is not attempting to establish a connection. This typically means it's in a lazy state or the remote peer is expired.

Connecting: The peer is actively trying to establish a connection. This occurs when the peer has entered an active state and is continuously attempting to reach the remote peer.

Connected: A successful peer-to-peer connection has been established and communication is active.
